Morehead Photography
Paul & Susan Morehead
I started taking game photos back when my son Mitchell was playing soccer in 2004. I found that shooting with your usual point & shoot camera was not producing photos that were even worth the effort. I started doing a lot of research and found that I needed to purchase a DSLR camera to even have a chance at capturing my kids in a way that would produce images that you could even see much less enjoy. After many hours of self schooling in how to shoot sports I was faced with shooting my daughter Lindsey's senior portraits. Yes, this turned into hundreds of hours of research on how to shoot portraits. It has been a long journey and I have learned an amazing amount about operating a successful photography business. I have shot over 80+ portrait sessions including seniors, families, corporate and even a couple of weddings for close friends. Over the years I have shot hundreds of sporting events. Mainly I focused on the games that my kids are playing but once I realized how much their friends enjoyed viewing themselves online, I now find myself at almost every type of sporting event. If I'm not shooting a game that my son Logan is playing then you might find me on the sideline of a New Philadelphia football game or at volleyball, softball or baseball game.
Word of mouth is my best marketing source for my senior portraits and family portraits. I have really enjoyed shooting many of my kids friends over the years. I have learned that creating memories for them and their parents can be very rewarding.
My wife, Susan, and I love seeing the younger kids coming up through the local sports. We shoot various team portraits also. Your usual memory mate is the most popular product but we carry many other products to choose from also.
I shoot with Nikon equipment, use a MacBook Pro with Retina display & a Thunderbolt display and Adobe Photoshop CS6.
Please send me an email if you have any questions or have a need for some great portraits!
Thanks,
Paul Morehead
